
Thank you to those who attended the 2011 Celebration of Entrepreneurship (COE) on October 18, 2011 presented by NAWBO Louisville. The event celebrated "All things Entrepreneurial". This year's event took place at KYE's (just across the river in Jeffersonville, Indiana) and featured served breakfast, awards program and business expo.
Young Entrepreneur Awards - Encouraging and mentoring young entrepreneurs is for high school girls and college women who own and operate a business while attending school. To that end, the NAWBO Louisville Foundation is proud to offer the Young Entrepreneur Awards. The criteria nominees are judged on are: Entrepreneurial Spirit, Overcoming Obstacles or Challenges, Results of Business and Vision.

She didn't set out to own a business but over the last 7 years, what started out as a way to earn extra money has turned into a growing landscaping business. With her brother as her partner, Mary maintains a number lawns in her neighborhood and beyond. Mary intends to continue her business as a source of income during college. |
