About 10 years ago I designed and built a 10,000 square foot family fun center. Had I known about NAWBO at that time, I believe I would have been much more successful in my first pass at entrepreneurialism!
Now as a partner at one of Louisville’s top CPA firms, I am reaping the benefits of this great organization. The connections I have made in my two years with NAWBO, and the support that each business owner gives the others is hard to put into words. It has been a great resource to me in having others in my shoes to bounce ideas off of. NAWBO’s educational programs, networking opportunities, and smaller groups have all contributed in some way to my personal business growth and development. Thank you NAWBO!!!

I just want to relate my experience from being a WBOY finalist last year and then joining NAWBO. I really didn't know anything about NAWBO until my nomination. After the luncheon last year I thought about joining and then made the "leap". It has been such a wonderful experience. The speakers at the luncheons are very informative. I also joined the Masterminds group of NAWBO. This is a small group of women in non-competing companies. We meet every two weeks and are able to discuss privately our challenges in our businesses. Even though I have been in business a long time, I am still learning. We give each other ideas and encouragement.
Please think about joining NAWBO. It's been a great experience for me.

Being a member of NAWBO Louisville has been one of the best things I have done for my business. The Masterminds groups are a real benefit of being a member. You gain valuable insight from a small group of women business owners that meet to privately discuss business issues, challenges and tripumphs. NAWBO also offers great networking within the organization and community. The most important thing I found was that to get the most out of it you have to get involved. Being on the board of directors has given me great insight into the organization and the ability to meet and work with some great women.
On the personal side, I have made some great friends who share being women entreprenuers and that have been invaluable mentors in providing suggestions to grow my business. It is worth every minute!
