Describe what your organization does in two sentences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mac Brown Media provides high quality videography and photography services to corporate and non-profit\u00a0organizations.\u00a0 Specifically, I shoot and produce training videos, headshots, process photography, facilities photography, and event photography that my client companies use to tell their stories in training classes, on the web and their websites, and in their promotional materials.<\/p>\n

Who do you serve?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I serve Fortune 500 companies (including Shaw Industries and LG&E-KU, a PPL Company) to local nonprofits\u00a0(including Family Scholar House, Catholic Charities of Louisville, The Healing Place, and more) … any organization that wants a partner to help them capture and tell their story.<\/p>\n

One fact you may not know about my organization is \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

While I have a small studio on Main Street, I am incredibly nimble and do most of my work on location.\u00a0 I typically come to where you are because that’s where you are generating your story.<\/p>\n

\"MacWhat sets your business apart from others in the way you attract and retain talent?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since I am a 1-man-band\u00a0I don’t attract and retain talent, however, I think one thing that is very important that sets me apart from many organizations similar to mine is how varied my background is.\u00a0 \u00a0I have experience in banking, health insurance, manufacturing, management, construction, education, HR, and other fields.\u00a0 That background helps ensure my clients and I can have deep dive conversations quickly to determine their needs so I can get at producing the materials that will satisfy them.<\/p>\n

What do you like about being an\u00a0investor\u00a0in Greater Louisville Inc.?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like several things about being a Top Investor in GLI, specifically the opportunities GLI provides to network with other professionals and potential clients.<\/p>\n

How does your organization engage in the community?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I typically engage in the community through the boards on which I serve.\u00a0 I am also on the GLI Workforce and Development Committee.<\/p>\n
