\u00a0“<\/em>Senate Bill 9 contains vital education reforms that will address student achievement gaps and ensure our Kentucky students are well-equipped for future careers. The Read to Succeed Act aims to increase reading proficiency rates by third grade, which is a key indicator of high school graduation rates and long-term success. GLI applauds the Kentucky Senate for advancing this legislation and encourages legislators in the House to prioritize its passage to support a strong homegrown workforce into the future.”<\/em><\/p>\n
