The membership committee shall be responsible for promoting the growth of diverse chapter membership through the activities of recruitment, hospitality, orientation and retention. They shall also be responsible for managing the chapter’s member and prospect database and the application process, both in accordance with NAWBO policy. In the area of education, the committee shall be responsible for identifying and promoting professional education and development programs relevant to chapter members. It shall also be responsible for the coordination and implementation of specialized chapter level educational programs including but not limited to NAWBO University, national teleclasses or local speakers bureau.
